Kumu Documentary – Tales from Life Itself

Kumu Documentary is the only weekly documentary programme in Estonian cinemas. The programme can be divided into two: films about art or artists and a general documentary programme with the focus on full length documentaries.

Kumu Documentary keeps a close eye on trends and orientation in the world of documentary films. Films in our programme invite to see, discover and give thought to the world around us. The screenings are introduced by directors of the films or specialists on the topic of the documentary. Public discussion is always awaited.

Kumu Documentary is a project of regular documentary film screenings initiated by Kumu Art Museum and the Black Nights Film Festival in February 2006.
