The system of Audio Guides offers an opportunity for a thorough overview of 80 masterpieces of Estonian art. In the sound clips, Estonia during the period of the completion of the works is described, the imagery is interpreted and an overview of the colourful life and works of the artists is provided.
The user of the Audio Guide can select works for examination at his or her discretion. The recorded texts can be repeated, wound forward and back, as well as paused or stopped. The complete system can be compared with the daily utilized mp3-players, which allow you to listen to the respective recorded clips in the exhibition halls next to the works of art bearing the respective label.
The Audio Guide programme lasts approximately three hours.
An Audio Guide can be rented from the ticket office of Kumu. The program is available in Estonian, Russian, English and Finnish.
The daily rental fee is 3,20 € plus the entrance fee.
The price does not depend on the time of use of the device.
