NB! For logistical reasons, we ask that groups that are visiting Kumu independently notify us at least three workdays in advance, by e-mail if possible.
We direct your attention to the fact that only qualified Kumu guides have the right to conduct tours in Kumu!
Qualification for Kumu guides (pdf-format)
Participation in advertised art courses and studios is possible only with pre-registration.
Tickets for advertised seasonal events are available for purchase at the Kumu cashier or Piletilevi outlets.
The size of the Kumu tour groups depends on the format of the tour, but cannot be larger then 35 people.
In the case of educational programmes, courses and workshops, the minimum size of the group is 10 participants. If there are fewer participants, a minimum fee per group will apply.
In the case of independent programmes (worksheets, workbooks, guides etc.), the size of the group is not limited.
Tours can be booked in Estonian, Russian, English and Finnish. Other languages are available by special order.
Educational programmes, art courses and birthday packages can be ordered in Estonian and Russian. Children's art studios are conducted in both Estonian and English; adult art courses are conducted in Estonian; individual Russian-language instruction is available by special order.
Payment can be made in cash and by bank card at the Kumu Art Museum cashier during the museum's opening hours.
If the client wishes to pay based on an invoice, we ask the client to send a guarantee letter, based on which the Art Museum of Estonia will issue an invoice to the client after the tour has taken place, and payment will be made by bank transfer.
It is also possible to pay by bank transfer based on a pre-payment invoice, which must be paid 48 hours before the event that has been ordered takes place. The museum will send an invoice in pdf format. The following information is needed in order to prepare an invoice: the payer's name, ID code, e-mail address and mailing address (if the invoice is to be sent by mail). NB! The Art Museum of Estonia does not refund prepayments.

A guarantee letter must be submitted not later than five workdays before the tour or educational programme takes place, preferably by e-mail to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .
We ask that the guarantee letter be on the client's letterhead and sent to the Art Museum of Estonia, Weizenbergi 34 / Valge 1, 10127 Tallinn.
On the guarantee letter, please note the client/contact person's information, the tour or educational programme that is being ordered, the duration and number of participants, the date of the event, information on the payer of the invoice (name and reg. no. of the institution, and in the name of a private person, the name, ID code and address) and add the sentence: "We hereby guarantee to pay for the programme (tour, course etc.) according to the invoice issued by the Art Museum of Estonia."
In the case of tours, we also ask for confirmation that if the tour or educational programme is called off due to the fault of the client (the client does not cancel the tour on time), the client will pay the Art Museum of Estonia a contractual penalty, which corresponds to the payment for the booked tour.
